Have you ever tried mixing it with a sunscreen/face lotion? That helps thin it out a little bit.
The one I’m using right now is a tinted moisturizer, so you’d think it would be pretty thin already. And even though it’s the lightest I could get, it’s still really dark :( I’ll try mixing more...
