But!! Bryanna painted my boots so now they have the right tops and bottoms :DD I’m so excited. this was one of the few things I wanted to fix with my costume. The other thing is I want boots with the same toe as these but a thicker and shorter heel that are more accurate. Also I’d like blue contacts. BUT EVERYTHING ELSE IS VIRTUALLY PERFECT??? ah. Especially now so that I’ve got these details on, because ah ah ah I’ve always wanted those :D

Tail is officially hands-free! It’s not the prettiest attachment ever, but it seems to be pretty secure and it’s going to be under a coat anyway. I could have made it more secure but I wanted to have the option to get back into the filling/wiring and fix it if I needed to, without pulling stitches or staples or whatever else.
But yes.
That’s done and now I… need to figure out… the hat… still….

Here’s the tail essentially finished! I’ve just put a rubber band around the top to keep the stuffing from coming out until I have something to sew it onto.
It’s a bit below knee-length when in place, and it’s completely poseable! I’m really glad it turned out well uvu a little lumpy in some places still, but now I know to avoid the stuffing altogether and just go with the quilter’s cotton, because WOW that is so much easier to work with.
This is coming along but I do have a miiiiinor issue where I forgot to take into account that stuffing the tail would shorten the amount of fabric I have available and now it’s a couple inches short…

(It’ll probably be underneath the tench coat and no one will notice… I hope…)
Yeahhhh both shoe covers are sewn!! They aren’t DONE, but they look largely presentable at this point. I still need to line them and hem them which… I don’t… want to do… :’) and then I need to find a way to attach them. But all the main pieces are sewn together and fitted, so yay!

I still need to cut out the fabric and sew it and stuff it and find a way to make sure the stuffing doesn’t shift around the wire

the last wig was really not designed for the cut we wanted but we have reason to believe this one will work better. Cross your fingers!
